Inbal Alon’s stories are for children who feel deeply, have boundless curiosity, and are figuring things out.

She writes where real childhood lives: in the moments after something breaks, when a question won’t stop swirling, or when a child is trying to make sense of what just happened. Her books are shaped by years in the classroom and by listening carefully to children when they speak — and when they don’t. Sometimes that silence is the whole story.

Inbal’s writing is shaped by years spent in and around schools — first around the world, and then for more than a decade as an elementary school teacher in Massachusetts. Those years show up in every story she writes.

Inbal’s stories don’t rush to fix things. They leave space to feel, to think, and to try again. That space matters.
