Honorable Mention from PB Rising Star Mentor Jena Elyse Johnson

I’m delighted to share that one of my picture book manuscripts received an Honorable Mention from PB Rising Star mentor Jena Elyse Johnson, selected from more than 4,500 submissions this year.

Jena’s recognition is deeply meaningful. As a mentor who champions fresh, heartfelt storytelling, her encouragement affirms the direction of this manuscript and the work still ahead. I’ll continue revising and shaping the story, and I hope to share it with readers soon.
